"Loading..." forever

Every time when I launch Musescore, a little box opens with the heading "Loading..." containing only a progress bar. There is no progress. Nothing happens. Something (unknown what) keeps "loading" for ever.

What should be loaded?

Try 'mscore -d' to see whether there's any additional debugging output giving hints.
Try 'mscore -F' to revert to factory settings

Also update to 2.0.3.
