Is it possible in version 1.0 to add a single bracket to the right side of a measure as in the attached picture?

Wings are normally just for repeat if you activate the option in Style -> Edit General style -> Barline. But as you have a volta on top of the last measure, I guess the last barline is a repeat barline.

Are you referring to the "wings" on the repeat sign? If so, then see style / edit general style / barlines. If you're talink about the first ending bravket, see the lines palette.
