[Trunk] Note length extending into non-existent bar won't appear

1. Create score with one bar.
2. Enable 'Note Entry'.
3. Fill bar with crotchets.
4. Disable 'Note Entry'.
5. Select final note.
6. Change to minim.

Result: Toolbar greys out and neither the bar or note appears.

Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (4695) - Mac 10.6.8.

Also:

1. Create score with one bar.
2. Enable 'Note Entry'.
3. Insert three crotchets (leave a crotchet rest on the fourth beat).
4. Select minim.
5. Enter it on the fourth beat.

Expected result: Crotchet tied to a crotchet in the following bar.
Result: Crotchet appears only in the first bar.

Related:

1. Open attached score.
2. Drag 3/4 Time Signature onto bar.
3. 'Yes' to "Rewrite measures until next time signature?"

Expected result: Three beats bar and one beat in next, tied.
Actual result: 3/4 time signature is applied, but the one bar with the semibreve is still there.

Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (4959) - Mac 10.6.8.

Status (old) active ⇒ fixed

#3 looks fixed and give expected result.
Top post and #2 works as expected, meaning MuseScore doesn't add automatically new measures.
Tested with e65d6b8bfd
