Tempo Text disappears after changing time signature

1. Create score.
2. Enable 'Note Entry'.
3. Fill bars with notes.
4. Disable 'Note Entry'.
5. Apply Tempo Text to note mid-way.
6. Play.

Expected result: Tempo Text is retained.
Actual result: Tempo Text disappears both visually and in playback.

Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (4959) - Mac 10.6.8.
