2. Hold 'shift' down, click on bar 2 and hold 'right' down until the end of the score.
3. 'Delete Selected Measures'.

Result: There is a 2/4 time signature at the end.

Using MuseScore 1.1 - Mac 10.6.8.

How did you create this score in the first place? Measure 2 and following are of real and actual duration 2/4. And there is not 2/4 time signature in the score.
