how do you run the latest trunk which requires qt4.5 on kubuntu? the latest qt version for kubuntu is 4.4.

You'll have to get qt4.5 first. Either look for an experimental package or compile yourself
From what I understand 09.04 Jaunty will include 4.5

I got it to work now. Downloaded from Qt-webpage. Looking forward to Jaunty :)
