2. Save As/Export.
3. 'MusicXML'.
4. Open MusicXML.

Result: Positions of System Text, Stave Text, Chord Name and Rehearsal Mark aren't preserved.

Using MuseScore 1.1 and 2.0 Nightly Build (5133) - Mac 10.6.8.

Yes, this is by design (as in "low priority, no done yet"). Positioning of text elements in not exported in any MuseScore version at this time. Classify it as a feature request.

Looking at 4.0.1 export (with full layout) of a staff text shows default-y and relative-y to be present in the export. So I'm assuming this issue can be closed.
