Changing Score layout drastically. Help!

Hi,
I'm creating some scores for music tutorials. I'd like to have the score ALL on ONE horizontal line (Identical to the way LogicPro has it's scores show up by default if you play MIDI from within logic). Then I'd want it to just play back, so that I can screen capture it while it plays back and put that in the video.
The reason I don't just use Logic is that I don't like the way it's bar goes across, and plus Muse Score actually highlights each note as it gets played. I think that will be helpful to my students. Beyond that... I'm trying to have a video of me playing the songs underneath of the score, so that the students can watch as it plays along to better see how the staff and the piano relate. So thus... having the whole screen get taken up by a score would defeat the purpose. I really want it all on ONE horizontal line. Anyway to do this?
