Font for Lyrics in PNG format

• Feb 19, 2012 - 02:22

I'm importing music into a desktop publisher (Scribus) to make a program. When I convert to PNG, the font for the lyrics looks strange (not the usual Times New Roman). If I use PDF format, the image looks blurry. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Whuch version of MuseScore are you using? On which OS ?
Do you convert to PNG via File -> Save as? Can you attach a file, the corresponding PNG and PDF?

Thanks for the reply.

I'm using version 1.0 (Would downloading the newest version help with this?)
I'm working with Mac OS X (10.6.8).

Right -- I convert to PNG via File -> Save as.

I'm attaching a PNG and a PDF. (The PDF is exported to Scribus -- the original PDF image is fine, but it becomes blurry when I import into the publishing program.)

Thanks--
Mark

Thanks for your reply -- I've been away for a few days.

I mentioned the PDF, because that was the only alternative I could think of to using PNG in a publishing program. The main issue is why the font on the PNG looks funny.

I've attached both the PNG and the MSCZ file. When you zoom in, the difference in the font is quite evident. Hope that helps.
