1. Create 4/4 score with non-pitched percussion instrument.
2. Double-click one of the drums until the bar is full.
Expected result: Four crotchets fill bar.
Actual result: Two crotchets, one minim.

I think it works consistently. You are out of note entry mode. You select a full rest so MuseScore defaults to quarter note and you enter a quarter note, MuseScore makes a quarter rest on the next beat and select it, you double click again and replace the rest by a quarter note, it moves to the next rest, it's a half rest, so MuseScore replaces it by a half note, as you would expect if you select a half note rest somewhere in the score.
Maybe we should switch to note entry mode as soon as a note is added, like we do when you use C, D, E etc...
At the time, we thought this was a bug.
However, we now agree it isn't.
