Inspector replacing Edit Mode?
The controls for 'edit mode' are now in Inspector (though I can't see vertical/horizontal raster? Don't know what they're for). Ordinarily, you would double-click the notes.
I just wonder, would double-click be used for something else?

Perhaps double-click would remain for certain things, such as ties and slurs .

I hope that we're not abandoning the ability to drag things witht he mouse.
This is far more intuitive than fiddling with keys.
IMO we should retain single click selects - double click opens edit mode.
The Inspector doesn't seem to be an intuitive way of handling parameter adjustments - in particular not having Set Invisible available on a right click is a major problem, if, as I do, you do not have the inspector open all the time.
And as Marc has asked before - please please can we have a key shortcut for set invisible.

I know Werner is committed to move all -- or most -- of the contextual menu operations to the Inspector, but I have to admit I still fail to understand how it is superior to right-clicks (which is a common practice to acces the properties of an object).
About "Set invisible", I think it could even be worth of a toolbar button! (even if I understand that it would difficult to create an 'invisibility' icon!)

Could be a Windows/Mac thing? Most Mac users I speak to give me blank stares when I talk about right clicking.
Rather strange why they would frown upon right-click, I use it all the time - I use a three-button mouse for my Mac Pro.
I don't really use the Inspector, but I can see how it might look and feel a bit strange. Despite this, it's probably actually good for the majority of functions, but probably not suitable for everything.
