how to form triplets

pls see the image attached and let me know what time signature to use in order to compose the sheet and give me more suggestions if any to do.

I think you (perhaps) did not enter Triplets but groups of three notes. See: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tuplet#normal-mode

You are absolutely right. Now I learnt it. thanks a lot.
I think you have not enter triplets but eight notes by 3, so you get 4 times , 6 eight notes and 1 quarter note . For entering triplets, begin by put a quarter note on the time you want the triplet, then click CTRL + 3, it appears the place for your triplet. In the inspector you choose what bracket you want. In your sheet , only the first triplet has a bracket, but the followers are also triplets

Shoichi and Raymond are both correct. However, I can see from the image that you are using a very old version of MuseScore that has many bugs and limitations. You should update to the latest version from https://musescore.org/en/download as soon as possible.
