Switch the order of parts and add more measures and system to a page
How do I...
a) switch the order of parts (the Piano is above the Violin and I want to put it under)?
b) Put more measures on a page (since there are about 5 parts and lyrics the formatting is giving me about one measure and system per page)?

Although this seems to be outdated. Especially the changing of the "space" value, which seems to be crucial.
There is a "spacing" value under Measure, but it won't go under 1 and I don't think it operates as a scaling factor. (Which we both are looking for I think.) I'm very interested if anybody knows where the scaling value is now.

Ooohh I founded it! It's under Layout->Page Settings->Scaling. I guess I was reading with my nose.
The Handbook page referenced above is actually quite new, I think, and perhaps somewhat of a work in progress (?), but it should help a lot with b). For a) see the Handbook entry http://musescore.org/en/handbook/create-new-score (yes, even though the score is already created; this entry contains a section on making changes after creation).

That link was very helpful! I was having the same problem where I wanted to switch staves.
You can switch parts via Edit -> Instruments
