Windows xp - r.5498
---------------------
Open file with 1.2. ==> Composer text is displayed well
Open file with 2.0. ==> Composer text is on 2nd page in the middle of the score, and can't be moved or erased
-------------------
Notice that the composer style font has been changed and part of it is in italics.
The texts have been added after closing the "new score" wizard. If you input them using it, nothing goes wrong.

(I think it's critical because it corrupts the score and can't be removed)

Confirmed on Mac, r.5512. File>Reload causes crash. Erases temporarily if you drag something from a palette over it, but reappears as soon as you let go. I don't see any italics added however.

It *keeps* happening. I've tried in a different computer.
The italics (edited by QWERTY) remain as such.
And yes, reload causes crash.

Windows Vista, r.5518.

Is it just this score that behaves this way?

I have got the error to occur, however I sometimes have to click the Navigator in order for the composer text to appear.

Otherwise it is missing completely.

Maybe it is a QT problem?

Only one of my scores has been affected like this so far, however in general loading a 1.x file into 2.0 results in miscellaneous errors and misplacings of score elements - particularly with articulations.

Windows XP Pro SP3/MuseScore 2.0 R5516

This happens if an element is moved outside the page. The current implementation cannot handle this right.
I think MuseScore should always enforce an element to be inside the page it belongs to.

Title [trunk] Scores from 1.2. are shown with the composer text on 2nd page if style has been modified Scores from 1.2 are shown with the composer text on 2nd page if style has been modified

It's really only if there's a loss/corruption of data it becomes critical - confirmed anyway :).

I agree about an element always being in the same page (#10290: Objects shouldn't leave the page) - are there exceptions to this, though?

Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (7ba279c) - Mac 10.7.4.

Can shed a bit more light on this one.

This may be something to do with changes in the Frame Text architecture.

I have recently been preparing a score for our choir, and have discovered the following about Frame Text elements created in 1.2.

In 2.0 this text will be displayed thus:
Left aligned text is displayed centred in the frame.
Centred text is displayed right aligned in the frame
Right aligned text is displayed out of the frame, often partially obsucred and on the 2nd page.

The position of the elements must have been adjusted in 1.2 for this to happen.

Attached file created in 1.2 illustrates this.

Well, it seems to me that the texts are all moved to one side a certain distance.

Apparently, only if the position of the elements was adjusted in 1.2.

In this example (see below), everything has been moved slightly, BUT the "sost." doesn't change its position in 2.0. I don't know why.
