Losing Stave text etc. when copying
Hello,
When copying notes from one score to another, Stave text, lines and hairpins are lost.
Is there a possibility to prevent that or am I doing something wrong?
Joe.

Sadly those particular score elements are not copied with the notes in the current version.

That’s a pity for me! It could save a lot of work (see my 'little black square' thread).
Is there some (less elaborately) work around possible?
Joe.

Not that I know of in terms of actually creating a score that has everything intact except that square. But you did see my comment about the square going away if you export to PDF? You might consider just using that as your printing method and not worrying about the display glitch, since it also appears that whatever the bug is that causes the square to appear, it has already been fixed for 2.0.
If it continues to bother you having the square there for 1.2 on-screen display only, you could always save as MSCX like I did, load it into an editor, then keep randomly trying things until it goes away. Maybe compare that MSCX and to one generated from the score you created via copy/paste and see if you find some difference other than those relating to the missing text and other element.
