Playback has to be set manually from an external soudfont.

That's just dotted slurs, possible ever since, not the symbol from image in the initial post
hmmm, it was that weird symbol in on top of the D? Can't find it on the master palette. One could draw the symbol and add it as an image, but that is workaround, not a solution.
I'm wondering if the one featured in the excerpt is non-standard, so if there is another symbol for tapping, I'll accept that.
I've seen a few people write that the symbol for tapping was a T (uppercase or lowercase, depends).

When searching for tapping in the master palette, you get these symbols.
I'm not a guitarist, but I do input tablature sometimes.
If there's no other way to denote tapping, then I'm happy with the T.
