Select a note and double click the appropriate barline from the barlines palette. The barline will appear after the note selected. If you don't see the palettes (on the left of the screen by default) press F9 to see them.
The above works, but you need to do it separately for each staff, and it doesn't play back as expected. Another method would be to use the Edit / Measure / Split function to split the measure in two. Then you can use a repeat barline in the usual way and have it play back.
