how-to: separate beamed eighth notes into stand-alone eighth notes?
Hi I'm new to the software so this may be an easy thing but I can't figure it out from documentation.
When entering eighth notes, they are automatically connected with a beam.
I want to have some of the eighth notes stand alone, even when next to each other (to distinguish words in a song score). How do you do this?

Select any or all the notes you want to stand alone and double click the picture you want in the Beam Properties palette. If you cant see it F9 toggles the display.
