Major problems with the Synthesizer

• Jan 28, 2017 - 01:59

So when I put all the reverb and settings in the Synthesizer page, mostly the reverb page, I use both plugins of Zita, set everything where I want it, and press "Set as Default" so when I open Musescore the settings I have done will pop automatically up. I open up Musescore and all my settings are erased, even though I press "Set as Default" I've even done it twice. That is just one problem. Now as for exporting, I will export my scores into a WAVE file so I can upload them to a video, I'll go into the Synthesizer, put a bunch of reverb, press "Save to Score" then export it into a WAVE file, and the score comes out very dry and does not apply the reverb I hear when I play the score in Musescore. It also doesn't work when I turn the volume up on the Synthesizer page. Is there another file I need to try? Mp3's won't work. I have attached 2 files of my problems incase needed.

Press the "save to score" button before saving and exporting: you said you have done that, so I ain't go no advice regarding Musescore. Worst case scenario, you could do a real-time recording of the audio from Musescore into a digital audio workstation while enabling loopback with your sound device or looking to see if there is a "what you hear" setting. G'luck.

Yeah,
Sometimes, mp3 is completely silent, Sometimes, it's recorded in the second trial.
Without making a small play with the volume at the reverb, The setting you saved does not come back.
Saved Eq2 settings are never applied.
And some things like this ...
Many of them were previously reported. And I think it will be corrected in 2.1.

Hello there I want to know if your problem was resolved because I'm experiencing the same problem now in 2020.
If you were able to solve it please let me know how.
My exported audio doesn't have the same reverb I set on Musescore even if I pressed save to score button.

I have the same problem (in windows10, musescore version is 3.6.2.548021803). If you use one reverb on only effect A, it does not show any bug.
When I have two zita reverb on effect A and B, zita reverb on effect A do not work on exported audio.
The attached picture shows red × on the unworked reverb.

You can demonstrate it by set wet reverb on effect A reverb and dry reverb on effect B reverb and export to audio.
