OT: Yet Another Notation Question

• Jun 13, 2012 - 22:59

Hi;
These things come in groups. I have two songs, back-to-back, with the same notational problem:

intro (never repeated)
main section (to be repeated once)
another part (never repeated)
main section (repeated just this once)

How do I write my repeats for this?
TIA,
Beno

Intro
Segno Sign at beginning of main section
Main Section
Fine at end of main section
The Another Part with DS al Fine at the end of it.

And I'd guess you'd want to slap repeat bars around the main section, so you'd have...

Intro
Segno Sign & ||:
Main Section
Fine & :||
The Another Part
DS al Fine

Or, instead of the DS al Fine, you could just copy and paste the main section in again, if you have room on the page. Then you don't need the segno or the fine either.
