writing separate staves with different instruments
Hello , i am trying to write 8 bar compositions in one score , each composition with a different instrument , time signature and key signature . I can't change the instruments , if i change it to bassoon for a new exercise , then the whole score is changed to bassoon .
I also wanted to make the bracket at the beginning and end of each staff that are usually in the music books.

Welcome, add the instruments, enter the notes, use 'Hide empty staves'

and, of course, the handbook, eg. https://musescore.org/en/handbook/breaks-and-spacers#section-break
And use the same name for the long and short instrument name so you end up with "Bassoon" in the second exercise rather than "Bsn."
