Cannot Shift and Command to select all text

1. Open score.
2. Double-click text.
3. Go to the centre of the text.
4. Using the keyboard, hold shift and command.
5. Press 'left' or 'right'.

Expected result: All the text in the direction pressed is selected.
Actual result: Only one character at a time is selected.
