Click on 1st note. Hold shift and click on last note. Selects all. Press shift dot. Staccato notes appear on the rests. Expected result: staccatos should appear for each note in selection
Actual result: staccatos (unexpectedly) appear below each rest but do appear for each note
Workaround: If you double click the staccato in the Articulations palette instead of using the keyboard shortcut then the staccatos appear as expected

Not totally fixed since it doesn't work with the following type of selection:

Rectangular selections now also work (in rev. 1903).
