Hurdy Gurdy
I miss a suitable sound for my instrument the hurdy gurdy. Is there (now, or in the near future) a solution for us hurdy gurdy-players? Is a good hurdy gurdy-soundsample to be expected?

It's not part of the General MIDI standard, so it's unlikely the default soundfont will include one any time soon. But see the Handbook under Soundfonts to learn how to search install third party soundfonts - then do a search to see if you can find one.
