Multiple stanzas do not copy-paste correctly

1. Open "adeste.mscx" demo
2. From the top staff select measure 1 (first full measure after pickup)
3. Edit > Copy
4. From the bottom staff select measure 2 (second full measure after pickup)
5. Edit > Paste

The first stanza copy-pastes correctly. However the second and third lyric lines do not copy-paste correctly. Only two syllables copy from the remaining stanzas ("nunc" and "qui"). And they paste in the wrong location (below measure 1 instead of below measure 2).
