This happens due to me having changed the plugin directory in preferences to some other directory, just prior to loading and starting that nightly. Older nighly builds have the same problem, workaround is a factory reset ("nightly -F").
That other directory contains my GitHub stuff, which, in addition to several plugins, is also my MuseScore fork. And that seems to be causing the crash, maybe due to its depth?
