Mint14 64

When printing to pdf I always find the PDF printer configured in page size to "personnalisé" (i.e."custom") the last line of the combo box. However the printer default according to the system is A4, and I see no printer relevant line in ~/.config/MuseScore/MuseScore.ini

Looks like a bug in your PDF printer instead of MuseScore no?
Why printing to a PDF printer and not exporting to PDF in MuseScore?

Other software doesn't behbve in this way

Why printing to a PDF printer and not exporting to PDF in MuseScore?
See my other «bug of the day»

Among other softwares there is Musescore 1.2, which prints in pdf trough the same printer dialog as 2.0, but whose default paper size is A4. And BTW sees any files, including accentuated ones through my usual system (Gnome) windows.

Also I checked that these «regressions» (accentuated characters not recognized, pdf export impossible, printer paper size defaulting to custom, unable to use system navigation windows) are present in 4f9d80a, dated january 5th, the oldest nightlybuilt I have at hand.

So there is a kind of regression from 1.2 to 2.0, at least under Mint14 64. Or is it a result of QT evolution ? Or some compilation mystery ?

I compared musescore (trunk) with other softwares

All, including Musescore, show the printers installed on my system (Mint 14 32). Among these printers is a «PDF printer» (the Cups one), whose default page size is the A4 default declared in its properties in the Cups configuration windows

Musescore add 2 possibilities labelled
Print in a file (PDF)
Print in a file (Postscript)
These two «printers» display as default the «custom» size 841*1189 mm
