Context: commit 1d2e3b074 (2012-04-12), self-compiled under Linux Mint 14, Qt Creator 2.5.2, Qt Lib 2.8.3.

Summary: While editing an element from the "Lines" palette (hairpin, volta, trill line, ...), the "x: " and "y: " spin controls of the EditTools toolbar misbehave.

Steps I:
1) Open or create a score with, for instance, an hairpin
2) Select the hairpin and enter edit mode (Ctrl+E)
3) Click the up/down arrows of the "x:" spin box

Results I:
a) the Y value changes also, displacing the element vertically.

Steps II:
1) Open or create a score with, for instance, an hairpin
2) Select the hairpin and enter edit mode (Ctrl+E)
3) Manually enter some value in the "x:" spin box

Results II:
a) the Y value changes also (as above)
b) the hairpin becomes diagonal

Notes:
*) Acting on the "y:" spin box also gives weird results.
*) The hairpin case is described above but, the same is true for many elements of the "Lines" palette.

Thanks,

M.
