Entering notes by click shows a very unusual behaviour in the nightly build appimage

I'm running the appimage

on fedora25 linux.

If I try to enter notes (by N or by the note entry submenu) and trying to drag/drop the note from the note selection palette of the mscore main window), I have problems to choose the desired note position in the target score.
Clicking on some pause during the note entry phase will enter the selected note twice or a couple of times), especially for example if having selected a sixteenth note and clicking on a crotchet rest (viertelnote). Then you will get more than 1 sixteenth note at the clicked position.

This is a totally other behaviour than in the mscore-2.* editions.
