Placing MIDI file onto musescore 2.0 sounds and visually looks different.

Hi people.

So I was recently trying to convert a song into a midi file. Here's the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YSBoU-uSXw

When I placed the midi file of this song onto musescore 2.0, the sheet looks like this: https://musescore.com/user/15828046/scores/4057891

If you look at the synthesia of the original music, the music looks way different then what was shown in the midi file. Is there anyway I can fix this problem and make the file sound more like the original?

How did you create the MIDI file? MIDI is intended for playback, not for accurate transmission of notation. It doesn't contain nearly enough information to allow for accurate reproduction of the details of the original notation. That said, it also seems your MIDI file contains a nber of inaccuracies that make it even worse. Feel free to post the actual MIDI file so we can advise you better as to how to improve it.

How was this file created? It seems to contain a pretty fundamental error (bad values of ticks per quarter note) that makes import go badly. If you created it yourself, were you experimenting with non-standard export settings? Maybe set that program back to its defaults and try creating the file again. if you got the MIDI file from elsewhere, you might have to contact whomever created it.
