Result: The first note isn't heard.

Note: The file was taken from a complete score and edited in TuxGuitar 1.2. The note can be heard in Harmony Assistant 9.6.3, Guitar Pro Lite 6.1.5 and TuxGuitar 1.2.

Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (025f37c) - Mac 10.7.5.

This issue is about what sounds the Baritone Sax instrument is defined on rather than a Guitar Pro issue. From what I can see, the note unheard (D5) is above the range of that instrument (I believe the range is C2 to A4) which is probably why a sound for that note isn't defined. (Though a woodwind player will know better than I, perhaps it's possible to lip up to D5...)

It's probably a soundfont limitation. The default soundfont doesn't have pitches for sax above A4 and another soundfont might just fix the problem.
