Realizing Figured Bass

I'm currently transcribing a Telemann piece from an early publication of the score via IMSLP. The continuo part has figured bass, which wouldn't be a problem if I knew how to realize figured bass. I don't know how to realize figured bass.

I tried looking it up but it's just as confusing. Could someone give a quick explanation as to how to read it and transcribe it?
