If it works as expected, if it shouldn't be updated, the "update" button is not enabled. It's probably enough right? The size is not really helpful indeed. It could be remove.
BTW: Even the filename is pretty meaningless, other than to check whether English US is mscore_en_US.qm, like it should or mscore_en.qm, like it still is....

It is more meaningfull as the size, as an indication whether it is really to be updated
