A Potential Bug

Has anyone else had problems with the undo action (typical 'Ctrl + z') failing to update note duration or other note properties, despite causing the U.I. to reflect the changes?

Undo does occasionally create some inconsistent states, yes. Sometimes, it might two presses of Undo to reverse the effect of what was really just one action, as the first actually backs up to an intermediate state. If you have a sample score and a specific series of steps that reproduces a problem reliably, you should report it so it can hopefully get fixed. But do note, there is no further development on the current 1.3 release. All effort is going toward 2.0, for which you can download an experiment nightly build that will happily play in parallel with a 1.3 installation. You could test to see if the problem is still reproducible in a nightly build before reporting it. See the Downloads menu at right of this page. But don't try using the nightly builds for "real" work - they are for testing purposes only.
