"spoken" notes

In voice, can you type in notes with heads that look like x's to represent notes that are spoken?

I expect now, over 6 years since your original question, you might have worked this out by now. However, just in case anyone else, from 2020 onwards is looking for this, here's how to find it:

View> Palettes> Noteheads

Then you have to drag your chosen note head to the note you want to change. Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to do this to multiple notes at once. It might be possible...

Simply select the notes you want before choose your notehead . If you want 4 notes in following, select them with CTRL and click, if you want a whole measure or severals, select them , right clic on a note in this selection, and use (by right clic) selection--all similars elements in the selection, and in the inspector choose notehead
