Append contents of one file to another

• Sep 21, 2017 - 03:08

I have music spread out in various files that I want to combine into one file. There are many changes in key signatures, time signatures, tempos, etc. However, the [select all] does not apparently include key signatures, time signatures, staff texts, system texts. When I paste a section from one file to another, everything gets notated in the current time and key signature of the target file, and hence enharmonic notes and rhythms are redefined. Also, all tempos and texts are lost.

Is there a way to really include everything in a copy and paste? Otherwise I'm going to have to redo quite a bit of work merging the files.

Thanks for you support.

Ziya, I get a "Page Not Found" for the link you mention ("https://musescore.org/handbook-advanced-topics/albums" is the url of the link)

@Thomas => The untranslated pages to the Handbook, I think they should point at least to the English version
("https://musescore.org/en/handbook-advanced-topics/albums"). I know the ideal would be to have them translated, yes, but I didn't explicitely selected ES (spanish) for my language for musescore.com (the lang I use is English for the website) --- but the link Ziya posted returns an error in my case. I'm posting this in the Translation forums too.
