Why won't Lines work for my song? Please help. Please!!!!
Ok, I'm new and I just started using Musescore, and my song is from Breath Of The Wild. It needs pedal or else the song does not sound good at all. I learned too use shift and the right arrow key to move it around. But it starts on the first measure and I want it to end on the 5th or something. But no matter how far I extend it, it always starts on the first measure and stops every time the first measure is done!!!!! And it never starts again. I don't know why It can't hold it out longer then the first measure but it's driving me insane. Every time it does that. Someone please help me. I can't take this anymore. Iv'e spent so many hours just trying to figure this out.

Place it where you want it.
Then use "shift" and the arrow keys to extend and reduce it.

That's what I'm doing but it only plays it through the first measure then stops.

Hold down Shift and click the 5th measure;
Double-click on the Pedal Line in the palette

As already mentioned: Can you attach the score you are having problems with?
Use the "File attachments" option at the bottom of the page, just above the Save and Preview buttons when you're typing your post. Click on Choose a file

I'm typing my score name in files and it is not showing up.
It would help if we saw the score so we know for sure what you have done. You may have changed something else by accident.
I would simply delete the line and enter it where I want the without adjustment according to the instructions here: https://musescore.org/en/handbook-notation/lines#apply_lines

I would, but now I'm trying to save my score, but it keeps getting "denied" which is really annoying right now. Also, I looked in my files and It's not in there. So, I wish I could but I can't give it.

I added random Pedal lines (on Windows), try to modify them as mentioned above

Check the Lines palette. Make sure you have chosen 'Advanced'

Select a note and then double click one of the lines.
Select a range of notes by clicking on the first note and using Shift-click to select the last note. Then double-click a line in the palette.

Try creating a new score (then you can use Copy / Paste)

Try the one I just sent.
Go to "Continuous View" and see the problem.
This hidden pedal line (at the very top) resets the other.
Why did you do that?
