Album Page Numbers
I am using MuseScore 2.1.0, Revision 871c8ce, under Windows 10.
In the handbook, I read: "To print an album as if it were a single document, click Print Album. The scores loaded into the Album Manager are printed in the order they are listed in with the correct page numbers, ignoring the page number offset values in Layout → Page Settings... → First page number for all but the first score."
However, when I print out an album, it has no page numbers at all. Each individual score prints correctly with page numbers. I did not examine the printed album in very much detail yet, but a superficial check seems to indicate that it printed correctly in every other way. Why do my page numbers not show up in the album?

OK. I think I know now why I have no page numbers. My scores are formatted for A4 and when I use the Album Manager to print the score to a PDF file, it is printing to 8.5 x 11 and I can find to way to change that.

So... are the individual scores formatted for A4? Do they print correctly to a PDF file as well?
Regards.

That actually was a PDF file. I have not tried on paper yet because I didn't want to waste the paper if there was anything wrong. This is the first time I have used the Album Manager to print. It has no provisions to see the final result before printing. Yes, the individual scores are formatted for A4, but the PDF file generated was formatted for 8.5 x 11, so the page numbers were below the bottom of the page. And the print dialog has no provision (that I can find) for setting the page size in the PDF file. The print dialong also shows no indication of the total number of pages to be printed.

If you are using the Print... command (as it sounds like), there is a preferences button below the list of printers. If you click that and navigate the various option boxes, one will normally allow you to set the paper size with A4 as an option.

OK, I see where I went wrong. I did look at that box, but only saw on option to select either portrait or landscape. However, this time, I noticed at the bottom of the dialog a link marked "Advanced" and when I clicked on that I got the option to specify the page size. Thanks for your help. My page numbers are now visible and printed just like I expected.
