8va and 8vb don't work on linked guitar/bass tab
if a 8va or 8vb is applied on a standard staff, the sound of the note will be changed to upper or lower octave but the linked guitar/bass tab will not change to other frets.

Yes, there are known design issues with this - see #29986: Ottava notes from music staff do not translate correctly to linked tablature. Hopefully at some point a solution will be found.
