Quick notation of tuplets
MuseScore is quite powerful for creating tuplets (with some nuisances), but entering long streaks of tuplets is rather unhandy, since it requires to switch note values permanently. It would therefore be quite convenient to have a simpler way of doing them.
One could, for example, have a toggleable button (maybe like the new note entry button with options for different tuplets), and when it’s activated, the program does:
→ Check if the active note is in a tuplet
→ If not, calculates the "normal" space of a tuplet (let’s say, triplet and 1/8 → 1/4)
→ If the measure has enough remaining space, add a tuplet of that length and the set division
So if one has to do lots of 1/8-triplets, one could just selects the 1/8-Note, activate the triplet mode and start entering the notes.
I hope this gets some attention, for I think that MuseScore would hugely profit from this.
Comments
Use "R" after the first tuplet, and MS copy this tuplet. If you select a measure full of tuplets, and click "R" MS copy this measure
