Hiding Naturals?
Hello,
I've just downloaded musescore 2 to finish an old project of making simple scale sheets catered to my young students. When I place a key signature, it adds natural signs to the key and I do not want this. I've read old forum posts about these "friendly reminders" and how I should be able to right click and hide them. But this option doesn't appear when I right click.
I remember seeing the "hide naturals" option when I last worked on this, on a different computer. Anyone have a solution?

I thought this too. No option for hiding all the naturals here.

Select first option. (C Maj/A min)

Right, I have already tried. It leaves natural signs on the C Major line, like on my second screen shot.
Thanks

At the very least, natural sign is necessary when going to C major.
Otherwise, you (and others) can not be aware that you are switching from a different key to the C Major key on the same score.
If you are writing different sections within the same score, use the section-end sign in this case.
The students are reading each line stand alone, so there is no need for the reminders. Students in the first year should recognize a key signature at the beginning of a concert piece, which will never have natural signs in it.
It is important for students to not be confused by the extra and unnecessary signs. Thanks again.

Depending on how crucial it is to not have pauses between each system (but for scales it probably doesn't matter all that much) replace your line breaks with section breaks.

In the case of changing to C-natural, click the natural(s) and press V and they will become invisible.

I would go with using section breaks...
The pause for a section break can be set to 0 seconds in 'Section Break Properties', accessed by right clicking on the section break.
Regards.
To summarize, threes steps are needed:
Style >General >Accidentals - Only for a change to C Maj / A min
Style >General >Page - (Uncheck) Create courtesy key signatures
Make the Key Signature for C Maj invsible (select it and press v)

Or: use section breaks
