Have you looked at https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tablature
It explains how to use tablatures. There is an option under the tablatures in the Instruments dialog for a 4 string tablature and many other options under staff properties that will make it customizable.

You can load it. But first you'll have to create a custom workspace (see: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/palettes-and-workspaces#custom-worksp…), then don't forget to check "Enable editing" (context menu: right-click on a palette) -> at last: right-click: Load Palette etc.
Tooltips allow to identify the chord names.
