Hairpin instantly changes volume instead of doing it gradually
I pretty much said it in the title, but I inserted a decresc into a score and instead of changing the volume gradually like it should, it did so instantly, just like a dynamic marking. This is also only happening for one of the hairpins in the score, all the others are working perfectly fine. Can someone tell me what's going on, and how to fix it? Thanks in advance

I cannot see any problem in your score. Post a copy of the score?

I don't want to attach the whole score, so here is the bar where it happens. For some reason, when I copied it in the decresc works fine, so just pretend it immediately gets quiet there.

We'd need a score that shows the issue, not one were we should pretend a problem
Some possible guesses - impossible to say until you post the score (even just the relevant excerpt):
the notes have their velocity set explicitly in the Inspector
the crescendo is on a single note (MuseScore does not currently support crescendo within a note, only note-to-note)
you added the hairpin on a single note then extended by dragging or some other means rather than the correct shift+right
the properties on the crescendo itself are set incorrectly
there are no dynamic markings on either side of the crescendo, or the dynamic markings conflict with the actual desired effect, so MuseScore cannot tell what you want
