Crash when importing MusicXML from Cubase Pro
Hi,
MuseScore 2.1.0 (Windows)

crashes when I try to import the MusicXML file attached which I created in Cubase Pro 9.5.
Guess this is a bug?

Latest 2.2 build crashes on this too
I already could localize the problem a bit more. The XML file contains two parts. IIRC measure=19 in part="P2" causes the crash. Unfortunately this only seems to be the first occation because removing this bar doesn't help. Whereas removing the whole part="P2" does help. Just my two cent hints from twiddeling with the XML file.

It crashes because part 2, a single staff part, contains notes in staff 2. Fixed file is attached.
Even though this is incorrect, MuseScore shouldn't crash but handle this gracefully. Submitted #269948: [MusicXML import] crash when importing single staff part referring to staff 2, which I'll fix later.

Thank you! This helps me. Guess you fixed the part definition in the xml. I will able to do this myself, so this is a workaround.
... and Cubase is to blame. No wonder, I'm really angry about crappy notation in Cubase.
