Red Box Surrounding Measures

• Jun 3, 2025 - 17:41

On My Score there are a bunch of red measures, is there anyway to fix this without deleting the measures and inputting them again as its very time consuming, everything adds up to 4/4 in the measures so im confused why musescore is doing this, seems to be only in the newest update as i havent had this problem in the past.

As you can see when you open the file, a warning appears that the score contains a large number of corrupted measures, which are located by these red boxes.
The score comes from musescore.com. It might be useful to attach the file (or indicate the link) at this point. And tell us what you then added/modified and how, etc. ?
As for fix the file, there's no immediate, easy way. Reset the parts doesn't seem to be enough, as the main score has also been impacted. It'll be rather tedious work, but it can be done, there are far more seriously affected files :)

You won't have much choice.

But to simplify things, I've seen that many (all?) of the passages where this occurs are in the trumpet part and at the same time the tenor saxophone plays (almost) the same thing, just an octave lower. So you could copy and paste ...

I've deleted the excerpts. There are still 16 mistakes in the score, which you can easily correct by copying and pasting as mentioned above.
