Staff Paper for Musescore?

Hello, I am new to music and in my college class, I figured using staff paper would be best. However, we go back and forth on 4/4, 3/4 and 2/4. Is there a way to have it set to no time signature, and just be able to input the notes as if it was regular staff paper you can buy. I know how to hide that stuff, but it will just keep separating the notes as if the time signature and bar lines were still there.
