how to do the multiple instrument effect?

so, i just listened to a musescore theme that has a solo and from what i hear, it sounds like multiple instruments are playing, aside from the solos. this is solely for string instruments, and i want to make it sound like an actual orchestra is playing. is there any tool to give it that effect?

In the sounds in the mixer, depending on the sound font loaded, there are often more than one sound for instruments such as Violin and Violins. Some sound fonts also have Strings defined. It will not sound like a chord being played but it will sound like several different types of instruments.
