Image Capture toggled on, target area highlighted, Ctrl-C or Edit>Copy does not save image to clipboard for pasting into outside application (e.g., MS Word).
And yet another workaround; don't use copy/paste, instead save the image (as png, transparen or not) and then insert that file into MS Word (or whatever program).
Copy/paste within MuseScore works BTW.
I have the same problem when copying image capture and pasting then in a Word document.
Before it was fine, practice, and now : nothing happens.
Very disappointed...
Saving the image as PNG and then insert this image in word is worse because :
(1) it's not a vectorial image, the quality is worse (espacially when printing the word document in a PDF then).
(2) it's a bit longer than ctrl + C in musescore / ctrl + V in word. It was so easy and usefull ! It's a pity.
Now I've just tried with preference "not transparent background" and it works again... I'm so happy !
Great, very, great !
My problem is now solved (I don't particularly need transparent background).
Comments
Workaound: Print to PDF & copy/paste from there.
I cannot reproduce this bug on Mac. I just tried it using version 2.2.1, Revision 5lb8386, and it works as expected.
I don't see any code that would be ready for review?
Andway, see #271074: Image capture with transparent background empty when pasting into Chrome on Windows
Althought there it is mentioned that macOS is affected too? @mattmcclinch : can you clarify (there)?
Another workaround: use intransparent PNG instead

Thanks if it could do work again in the future.
