Adjust volume on playback for dynamics symbols?

I'm finding that during playback there is quite a jump in volume between the mp and mf dynamic markings. Is there a way for me to adjust the volume levels of the dynamics to get a smoother experience?

You can

select a dynamic and look at the velocity in the inspector and edit it. You can then drag it to a custom palette and the dynamic will be changed when applied from this palette.
After entering all of you dynamic, right click it, use select>more... and select subtype that matches what you want, then you can change the velocity of every dynamic of that type at the same time. (do it once for mf and once for mp)
