Cut guitar chords

• May 17, 2018 - 02:55

Hi, gang!!!

I uploaded a short file (a rhythmic accompaniment with an electric guitar, an electric bass and percussion set).

The problem is about how to write the effect you can hear from the file, without to show it so "ugly".

I'm talking about the rhythmic figures. They should be shown as in the picture I uploaded.

I tested with staccatto and it doesn't work.

I think the problem is about the arpeggio effect which I don't know how to control. I mean: if I use long time rhythmic figures, it sounds too much false (not real cut guitar sound), so I have to use short time rhythm figures, but it looks so ugly!!!

How can I work it out? ???

Greetings!!!

OK, so notate a staff to look like the picture. Then, in the Inspector, uncheck 'Play' for those notes.
Then notate another staff - the ugly one - and make it invisible; but have it play.
See:

Go to Edit -> Instruments... to make the hidden electric guitar staff visible/invisible.
